Privacy

We keep it simple, and we keep it yours.

OWN Indiana collects the information you give us so we can run the newsletter, events, and membership. We do not sell your data.

The basics

What we collect and why.

Your email and name, to send Operator Notes. Unsubscribe anytime from the link at the bottom of every email.

What you tell us in your profile, like your role, company, ZIP, plans and revenue range. We use it to send you what fits, plan nights near you, make intros and count totals, like how many readers run a business. Nothing with your name leaves OWN.

When you haven’t told us, we fill in basic public business details like company size and industry by matching your name and company in a business directory (Apollo). We never overwrite what you told us.

Event RSVPs, handled through Eventbrite.

Membership details, handled through our membership platform.

The companies that support OWN see totals only, like how many readers run a business. They never see names or the list.

Anything you send us at connect@ownindiana.org, to reply to you.

Change your answers anytime on your profile page; the link is at the bottom of every email. To remove anything, email connect@ownindiana.org and we’ll take care of it.

Your choices

You are in control.

You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email, change your answers on your profile page, ask what we hold, or ask us to delete it. Email connect@ownindiana.org and we will take care of it.
